Trent Schatzmann


Trent commenced with COX in 2014 and is an Associate within the Sydney Interiors team. He graduated from the University of NSW in Interior Architecture with First Class Honours and the University Medal.

Trent designs spaces that promote user well-being and minimize their impact on the environment.  He maintains a strong focus on conceptualising, planning and detailing interior spaces, whilst at the same time liaising effectively with clients, project managers and builders.  He works across diverse sectors including workplace, education, hospitality, cultural, integrated fitouts and transport; recent high-profile projects include 680 George Street; the INCUBATE Start-Up Hub at the University of Sydney; and a foyer refresh at the Australian National Maritime Museum.

Trent has a passion for educating future interior designers, convening courses for the Interior Architecture program at UNSW, and is a council member for the Design Institute of Australia’s NSW Chapter.
