Tony Rowley

Senior Architect

Tony joined COX as a Senior Architect in 2008 and has led the successful delivery of a number of significant residential and commercial projects in the office.

Tony possesses a broad skillset incorporating a detailed knowledge of design, construction and cutting edge BIM technologies. He also manages the Canberra office’s BIM system and training, where he has overseen most major projects in the office, ensuring that state-of-the-art technology is implemented effectively and that efficiencies are realised. He is a member of the national eCOX team, assigned with the study and implementation of environmental design initiatives through education and practice. He applies his expertise in close collaboration with clients and construction teams and has led the successful delivery of many of significant projects as Project Architect.

In 2013, Tony completed the Pierces Creek Recreational Trail Bike Facility master plan project in Paddys River, ACT. This project involved extensive stakeholder consultation and community engagement. This project required a detailed environmental solution working within complex site constraints.

Tony regularly engages in community-based projects incorporating interactive and educational elements. In 2012, Tony designed and facilitated a children’s mud brick cubby house program at the Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Gardens, Batemans Bay, NSW.
