Satvir has expertise in various building typologies including airports, rail networks and stations, bus interchanges, public buildings, commercial and retail developments, residential and industrial developments, and leisure and entertainment facilities. Satvir’s success as a project lead is reinforced by his understanding the key aspects and aspirations of client and stakeholder’s requirements and providing considered, timely, and relevant solutions and responses.

Satvir provides design and management leadership on large complex transport infrastructure developments as Architectural Lead on projects including Sydney Metro City, Southwest and Central Station, Wynyard Station Upgrade, North West Rail Link, Western Express, and Sydney Metro Network. His other projects include North Sydney Station Upgrade and Chatswood Transport Interchange. Previously, when working in Japan and Malaysia, Satvir was a key member of the design team on the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

In transportation projects, his focus is on the issues of movement and connectivity, the inherent complexity of the typology, and the collaborative efforts required by engineers, architects and urban designers, with a particular interest in the potential for new or redeveloped stations to become a catalyst for change for their communities.
