John Ferendinos


John had a successful career in Durban and Cape Town for 15 years as a Director in a prominent South African practice before he moved to Australia to continue his career with COX in 2003.

In 2017, John was made a Director of the practice in Sydney, after having been an Associate for 14 years. His design flair, coupled with a commitment to meeting client requirements, is an important asset to any large complex project. His involvement with many successful international design competitions is evidence of this.

John has also attained a high level of technical expertise having worked extensively in the area of technical documentation and contract administration.

He has worked across a wide variety of sectors including public domain, sports, commercial, educational and residential projects, but has particular expertise in hospitality, cultural, convention and exhibition facilities.

Key completed projects include the Kaohsiung Exhibition Centre in Taiwan, the Jubilee Bridge in Marina Bay and the Concourse Skyline Apartments – both in Singapore. Key current projects include Empress Place and Esplanade Park Public Domain Redevelopment at the Civic District in Singapore, the Durban Inner City Master Plan and the Point Redevelopment also in Durban, South Africa.
