Bastiaan Kolff


Bastiaan graduated with a Master of Architecture in 1999 from the University of Technology in Delft, the Netherlands.

Bastiaan spent his early career in the Netherlands where he was involved in several large-scale office buildings as well as an award-winning residential building constructed using innovative lightweight techniques. After moving to Australia, Bastiaan worked with Cox Architecture from 2007-2009 and then re-joined in 2013.

Bastiaan has broad range of experience, having been involved in projects across the public, residential, retail, commercial and institutional sectors. His strengths lie in design, project management, contract management, contract administration and construction detailing. Bastiaan has acted as project leader on several large projects including, the refurbishment of the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Boggo Road Urban Village stages 1 and 2 and the Brisbane CityCat Ferry Terminal Revitalisation.

Bastiaan is known for his ability to develop strong working relationships with consultants and builders, and an uncompromising attitude towards design quality.
