Anya graduated with a Master of Architecture in 2010 from the University of Queensland and received the Dean’s Commendation for High Achievement across multiple subjects.
Anya is currently the project architect on the National Maritime Museum of China in Tianjin, working alongside Philip Cox and former director, Jayson Blight to deliver the 80,000m2 building. This project has involved working cross-culturally with local architects, clients, manufacturers and contractors in Chinese, to resolve complex construction and co-ordination challenges. Anya coordinated the production of parametric and Revit models to enable a better understanding of the complex building design.
Anya’s experience spans a diverse range of sectors including law, education, retail, aged care, residential and civic architecture. Anya is passionate about the benefits of fully integrating architecture and landscape and seeks to engage with a broad professional network. Outside of Cox Architecture, she has participated in various young professional groups, including ACYPI’s Brisbane Chapter and the FutureNet committee.
