Brisbane Studio expands leadership in interiors as Kellie Newman joins the practice

Cox is pleased to announce that Kellie Newman will join the practice from late April.


Kellie will take up a leadership role within the growing team as Executive Lead for Interiors. Kellie will work alongside Brooke Lloyd, Director, who currently splits her time between both Brisbane and Sydney studios as part of a National working group.


Kellie’s experience and skills are held in the highest regard by her peers and she is well-respected by a range of clients across the gamut of sectors. Brendan Gaffney, Director at Cox Brisbane said “We’re thrilled Kellie has agreed to join us at this exciting time, her experience in both workplace and education in particular will help further strengthen our offer in these areas of focus.”



Kellie joins Cox after more than 16 years with leading practice BVN, most recently as Senior Principal Director. Kellie’s reputation is as a client focused, creative and collaborative leader who works with her team and clients to achieve a shared vision. Through customer satisfaction, Kellie has developed an enviable portfolio through repeat business. She is an award-winner many times over and her work spans Gold Coast Healthcare, CBD Big Energy workplace through to campus-based Tertiary Education. Kellie is a polymath with single-minded dedication and we look forward to welcoming her to Cox.
