Mark Sierzchula is an Associate in our Brisbane office who graduated with First Class Honours from the Queensland University of Technology in 2011 and completed his Masters in 2014. He had, however, worked for 17 years prior to graduating mainly at the Brisbane practice Arkhefield on multi-residential projects, and on the award-winning River Quay Boardwalk restaurant precinct in South Bank developed from a design Mark conceived at university.
Since joining Cox Architecture in 2011, Mark worked on the international competition winning design of the National Maritime Museum of China, using parametric and other 3D modelling techniques to resolve the doubly-curved geometry of the museum pavilions. He then became one of the two project architects on the innovative Brisbane Ferry Terminals, designed to withstand future flood impacts in the wake of the 2011 floods.
Mark has since become an integral member of our Brisbane office’s multi-residential project team.
