Leonie joined Cox in 2010 and has developed extensive experience in workplace design and commercial interiors. These projects range in size from 20,000m new build to small-scale projects including the reconfiguration of ACT Government departments and a boutique fitout for a mortgage broker. She was also lead interior designer for various projects at Parliament House and Department of Human Services.
Leonie has assisted with various Institutional projects including Canberra Girls Grammar School science building and Radford College senior theatre and worked closely with the University of Canberra (UC) as lead interior designer on numerous projects including the INSPIRE centre and the Sporting Commons.
She brings extensive experience in briefing and client liaison, delivering highly technical projects such as the Australian Maritime Safety Authority’s National Emergency Response Centre and highly functional fitouts such as UC’s Brumbies HQ and training amenities.
Leonie works through the concept design, design development and contract documentation phases of projects and is responsible for monitoring budgets and programme, consultant coordination, delivering trade packages, and has extensive experience in the construction services phase of projects.
