Karen Clutson

Karen is a highly experienced and creative interior designer with extensive design knowledge and strong skills in the interpretation of requirements, design processes and design delivery.

With over 20 years of experience in the design industry, Karen is a confident and highly effective communicator who possesses broad interpersonal and change management skills.

She has a diverse background with sector experience ranging from luxury hotel and hospitality design through to in-house design management for a financial services provider. Whilst in this role Karen was responsible for the research, design analysis, creation and implementation of new design policies, strategies design and management of wider design supply chain. This wide ranging appreciation of the role design plays within an organisation has, in turn, helped inform how she can shape the outcome.

Karen also has extensive experience in government, corporate and workplace design projects, specifically in the generation of strategic project requirements, consultation processes and integration of highly technical requirements, often within environments which have diverse requirements. Karen has detailed knowledge of the contemporary workplace and seeks to combine the requirements of functional performance with organisational values and behaviours.
