Jennifer first joined the Canberra studio as an Architectural Student in 2008. She is now a registered architect, with a particular interest in educational facilities, master planning and Building Information Modelling (BIM). Jennifer has a diverse range of experience including high-end residential, multi-residential, educational, diplomatic, commercial and master planning.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Architecture, she then continued her studies at the University of New South Wales, completing her Masters of Architecture in 2010.
Following her university studies, Jennifer worked at Sydney-based studio Tzannes Associates. Here she worked on several high-end private residences, multi-unit developments, commercial, hospitality and educational projects.
Since returning to Cox Architecture in Canberra in mid-2012, Jennifer has worked with The Scots School Albury to develop the master plan for a long-term construction schedule and renovation strategy; on a concept design for an extension to Questacon; The Jamieson Apartments multi-unit development; commercial work at the Canberra Centre; the Samoan High Commission and master planning for Canberra Girls Grammar School.
As Project Architect for The Jamieson Apartments, Jennifer oversaw documentation, coordination and construction for 89 residential units and commercial tenancies. This development is the first large residential development along one of Canberra’s significant boulevards – Constitution Avenue.
