Eldon Borkwood

National Design Technology Leader

Eldon is the National Design Technology Leader for Cox Architecture. He is passionate about technology and change, and is firmly committed to Building Information Modelling processes and management. His goals are to actively research and develop the processes required to provide Integrated Project Delivery within a holistic and strategic approach that covers the requirements of our projects, clients, and the industry.

Early in his career, Eldon developed a personal and professional interest in 2D and 3D Computer Aided Design which has, in more recent years, led him to develop an extensive understanding of the emerging requirements of Building Information Modelling. Now, with over 10 years’ experience with Autodesk Revit and involvement in some of Cox Howlett & Bailey Woodland’s largest projects including the Perth Children’s Hospital and New Perth Stadium, Eldon brings a fresh view on BIM to the practice with hands-on experience to provide greater support to all offices. Eldon is also involved with the WA Revit User Group and BIMWest industry organisations.

Prior to joining Cox Architecture, Eldon worked in the UK, Spain and Australia on varying sized projects across typologies including commercial, pharmaceutical, residential, educational, health, sports and institutional projects.
