Andrew Kimmins graduated with a Masters of Architecture with a Dean’s Commendation for High Achievement from the University of Queensland in 2008.
Before joining Cox Architecture in 2010, Andrew worked across regional Queensland on a variety of projects including the Cairns Base Hospital Redevelopment, Mossman Gorge Visitor Centre and Cairns North Community Health Centre.
At Cox, Andrew has played a senior architectural role on the Kings Square commercial building precinct in Perth, the Townsville Hospital Redevelopment, Griffith Health Centre at Griffith University’s Gold Coast Campus and the Gold Coast Airport. Additional to project roles, he is a practice leader in Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes focused on Revit and is responsible for training young graduates in documentation and advanced technologies.
