Alex is an Associate in the Brisbane office.
He graduated in 1999 from the University of Sheffield with a Master’s degree specialising in the regeneration of derelict post-industrial landscapes throughout Europe. This study resulted in him designing several urban renewal precincts in sensitive conservation areas of northern England.
Alex migrated to Australia in 2005 and became a lead retail architect at the Buchan Group before joining Cox Architecture in 2010. He has since been the Project Architect for the Griffith Health Centre at Griffith University’s Gold Coast Campus, the Queensland State Velodrome in Brisbane, and he has been a main member of our National Maritime Museum of China project team.
Alex specialises in digital design and documentation, in particular utilising Building Information Modelling (BIM) systems. He is a Cox practice leader in REVIT and in our parametric modelling technologies.
